Ray Ban Driving Series Sunglasses With Chromax Lenses Picture(s) and Description:

Ray Ban Driving Series glasses with Chromax Lenses. These are real, not imitation Ray Bans. The frame is black metal, a bit different than the typical gold frame, a much cooler look. The lenses are amber-colored glass with the Chromax feature. They are designed for driving and the Chromax filtering really makes the reds and greens stand out. This helps you to see the tail lights on other cars and also the red or green in the stop lights. They also cut out glare making driving a pleasant experience.

Glasses are in excellent condition. No scratches on lenses, clean. They are very expensive when purchased new.

Seller originally purchased these glasses in the mid 1990's for driving. Had Wayfarer II before, liked them, but thought the style of these glasses was nicer, especially with the Chromax feature made for driving. Couldn't get comfortable with contact lenses and had to go to prescription glasses and clip-ons, so regular sunglasses wouldn't do.

Original case included. The left ear piece is stamped with these markings: W1666 WUAS. Seller assumes these may be the model number and/or serial number.
