Vintage B&l Ray Ban Driving Shooters Aviator Sunglasses Picture(s) and Description:

You are bidding on a pair of vintage BAUSCH & LOMB RAY BAN LEATHERS Aviator Sunglasses w/ leather case( original case I believe) These are in very good, used condition. The hinges are tight, ear sides are straight, ear paddles are also leather & in very good condition. Nose pads & both lenses are also in very good condition. Lenses are very clear & show no signs of scratching. The leather color of both the glasses & their case are of a medium to deep brown, or brownish burgandy color, Lenses are brown tinted & metal parts are goldtone. The leather extends around the lenses, above nose bridge & on the ear paddles. I've heard these sunglasses referred to most commonly aviator glasses, but often shooters, or driving. I imagine they are used for all of these, however, I don't know the exact name originally given this model. I believe them to be from th 1970's - they are definately not a new remake. The bottom of nose bridge is engraved with "B&L RAY-BAN U.S.A. " Please see pictures for further details, & overall condition of sunglasses. I am not familiar with determining size of glasses, however I have measured the glasses from outer hinge to outer hinge & it is 51/2". Feel free to ask any questions & thans for your interest.
